Job Description:
The Associate/Senior Associate plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of Global Business Services – Record to Report Team (GBS-R2R). Following are some of the key responsibilities of the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure robust, timely and accurate information is produced in line with IFRS
• Participate in the month-end process;
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements - Balance Sheet, P&L and identify the risk and opportunities
• Ability to perform SOX testing and identify potential Control lapses
• To provide Financial awareness and informed decision making across all Business segments within GFBS
• To Prepare a Balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis and highlight any open item to the Local FBS and Controllership through Open Item Tracker
• Help the management with various Process Excellence and Automation projects by providing insight related to the process
• Able to write the Standard Operating Procedure and Process Flow Diagrams
• Assist with the preparation of Statutory Financial Statement of legal entities on a yearly basis
• Client facing experience would be preferred Should be willing to work in UK Shift - 12.30 PM to 9.30 PM India Time

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Management Accountant (CMA)
1-year minimum experience in a relevant field;

Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines
Ability to work under pressure
