Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike. In your role you may be responsible for: Building automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Katalon, Cucumber, etc. Create test data and test environments Write and execute test scripts under the direction of a senior tester and test lead and identify errors and validate successes for any software solution Identify, understand, and document all programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specification goals for the given program, application or set of applications Do a deep-dive and present test results to clients and project teams clearly **Required technical and professional expertise** * Basic understanding of the process of Software Testing * Introductory development background * Familiarity with cloud computing concepts * Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology based Consulting environment, using agile * Exposure to basic AI concepts, ethics, and methodologies **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Preferred experience: knowledgeable on design, creation and execution of functional and/or non-functional test cases; experience with tool (or similar tools) such as: Confluence, JIRA, Selenium, Test Data Management Tools, Performance Testing Tools * Exposure to at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, IBM, or Google Cloud * Familiarity with data quality analysis, and testing skills in API, ETL and SQL * Exposure to basic data science concepts IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
