Currently, we are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our Southwest Project and Development Services Healthcare team in Southern California.
Position Summary:
Works as part of the Project Team, assisting with the development of scope and schedule for project workProvide superior client serviceProvide superior employee managementContribute to the growth of the companyEnhance own professional and personal skillsMeet assigned financial targetsEssential Functions:
Manage priorities appropriately, address unexpected/urgent internal and external requests, maintain balanced workloadAssist in preparation of all contracts and consultant agreementsSupport project administration set up, maintenance, data entry and filing of all required documentationProcess all project invoices, pay applications accurately and timely, and support the management of the project cost report systemCoordinate all close out activities and deliverables throughout the project process including turn over package to clientSupport JLL’s project team on healthcare projects and assignmentsProactively manage project-related issues on account or assignmentAssists with coordination and tracking of Consultant, Contractor and all Vendor RFP’sMaintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentationAssist in the presentation, monitoring and updating of the project scheduleInteract and negotiate with contractors, consultants and vendorsPrepare/update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for financialsDemonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective mannerDemonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all PDS technology as required for assigned projectsEnsure accurate management of all accounts receivables to maintain a level not to exceed planned working capital charge as set by corporate finance, account finance team and/or the Regional Operations ManagerAssist Local PDS Team in meeting AGM numbers on a Regional and National level as determined on a yearly basis by the Management Executive CommitteeComply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practiceMonitor RFI logs, submittal logs, testing and inspection reports, change order logs, CCD logs and other related reports for use by the Project ManagerProperly document project meetings; prepare meeting minutes and distribute using PDS forms and processesRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
Ability to track budgets and participate in their developmentFamiliarity with architectural drawings, medical equipment, furniture and space planning conceptsFlexibility with work hours and travel as needed1 year practical experience in construction managementHighly organized with strong analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clientsOrganizational skills with the ability to identify and manage prioritiesBasic written and verbal communication skillsDetail orientedAbility to multi-task and work both in a team and independentlyProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience in application of CAD preferredEstimated total compensation for this position:
90,000.00 – 100,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
