The Associate Project Manager supports the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) team within US Operations, working closely with Director‑level OE Leads on initiatives such as organizational optimization, location strategy, third‑party spend, and change management.
This is a project management support role, focused on enabling OE Leads to deliver projects efficiently through strong coordination, process improvement support, and basic data analysis. Projects are moderately complex and aimed at improving operational efficiency within the US RBU organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport project planning and execution, including project charters, plans, kickoff activities, and task trackingMonitor timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives (5–8 concurrent projects)Prepare agendas, facilitate meetings, document outcomes, and track action itemsDevelop project documentation, dashboards, and reports using Smartsheet and MS OfficeSupport process improvement initiatives (Lean, continuous improvement, Kaizen)Participate in workflow mapping, capacity assessments, and efficiency analysesGather, validate, and analyze data to support KPIs, productivity metrics, and cost savings trackingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and executive‑level status updatesSupport change management activities and project close‑outSkills & QualificationsFluent English proficiencyStrong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to manage multiple priorities independently with attention to detailExperience working with data and basic financial conceptsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management toolsLean / Six Sigma experience preferredBasic exposure to Power BI or AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) is a plusIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
