Associate Project Manager, Expat Tax

Align project requirements and deliverables with the strategic and tactical goals of the organization. Establish and nurture positive relationships with project sponsors, participants, stakeholders, and customers. Measure and be accountable for the short- and long-term project results. Day to day, you’ll... + Understand the business needs of the internal and external customer + Provide subject matter expertise for Expat operations and 3rd Party Systems + Escalation resolution between external vendors and Expat teams + Own overall responsibility for the success of assigned projects + Define project objectives and deliverables to meet those needs + Identify assumptions and constraints that impact schedule, resources, costs, quality, and risk + Define scope, schedule, budget, and quality levels for the project + Identify, obtain, and organize necessary project resources + Prepare and execute plans for quality, change control and communications + Execute against the Project Plan while controlling and reporting on scope, schedule, quality, costs, resources, and risks + Verify and document project results + Complete all tasks necessary to close the project, transitioning to an operational state, if necessary + Client facing and internal support for day-to-day business operations + Works effectively across company business units and field teams + Other duties as assigned What you'll bring to the team... + Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related area, or the equivalent through a combination of education and work experience + Strong operational acumen working with internal and external systems + Familiarity with formal project management methodologies + Demonstrated decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities + Track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines + Effective written and oral presentation skills and facilitation skills + Ability to communicate with all levels of internal associates, external vendors, and business partners + Ability to work proactively and effectively as part of a team, but with little formal supervision or guidance + Effective supervisory skills in a matrix-management environment + Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and project planning tools It would be even better if you also had... + 3 years Minimum related work experience + Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and product planning tools + Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group + Ability to lead in a matrix environment and at a distance (virtually) + Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group as a member of a team + Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated effectiveness in presenting complex information to multiple organizational levels, with strong facilitation and presentation skills + Track record of establishing priorities and deadlines + Demonstrated decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills + Familiarity with Project Management methodologies Why work for us Since 1955, we have been leaders in tax preparation, financial services, and small business solutions. Pay Range Information The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit. Pay Range $62,800.00 - $94,200.00/Yr.
