For our Medium Voltage Switchgear unit in Brno, we are looking for a new colleague to join us as an Associate Project Engineer.

Work model: onsite

The main responsibility of this role is preparing the design part of project documentation for MV switchgear and proposing customized solutions. The position is open both to recent graduates and to experienced designers.


Your role

Get familiar with the department’s operations, MV switchgear production, and receive training on MV products (UniGear) and the ePlan software

Actively participate in project-related teleconferences

Occasional business trips worldwide for kick-off meetings or investigations

Preparation of documentation for production and testing

Preparation of documentation for the tendering department

Cooperation with the sales department and production
 

What you bring

Secondary/University degree in Electrical Engineering

Basic knowledge of technical standards (ČSN EN 62271-200 / ČSN EN 61439)

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

User knowledge of CAD (EPLAN / AutoCAD)

Precision, independence, willingness to learn new things, good communication skills

English (min. B2) and Czech/Slovak (min. B2), another language is an advantage

Previous experience with MV switchgear is a strong advantage

Logical, analytical, and systematic thinking
