Abbott Cardiac Rhythm Management Global Marketing is looking for a strong leader that wants to make a difference in the transvenous pacemaker space. In this role, you will own a critical part of the commercialized transvenous pacemaker & accessories portfolio, drive share acquisition through strategic initiatives, and play an integral part in future product launch execution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Manage LV product downstream marketing globally for assigned products and/or markets, providing marketing strategy, guidance, and support.Generate expert level brand, market, and competitive analysesDevelop annual marketing plans to grow product sales, profit, and shareCreate and execute marketing campaigns that generate measurable winsCollaborate with DVP, AVPs, and R.D.s to create a unified strategy and cohesive tactical execution plansWork closely with the U.S. Commercial team & Finance to ensure alignmentGain buy-in from commercial leadership and ensure execution of marketing plansForecast product demand and sales for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planningCreate competitive marketing strategies and tactics that defend and take shareCollaborate with the CRM Education team to develop, implement, and update product training for the sales force on an ongoing basisCollaborate with the CRM Education team to generate strategic opportunities for KOL and AHP engagementCollaborate with the CRM Marketing Communications team to ensure best-in-class collateral development for supporting sales executionLead new LV product launchesLead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of product launch plans and critical milestonesIdentify product positioning, value propositions, and key messaging in conjunction with the Marketing Communications teamCollaborate with Upstream Marketing counterparts to provide market insights and condition the market for product launchesIdentify market entry strategies with the Reimbursement teamDevelop podium and publication plans with the Clinical teamCreate market development plans with global marketing teamsWork with the education team in developing field and physician training plans and ensure optimal training executionCreate and align the go-to-market strategy with Commercial leadership, including key performance indicators, segmentation, and account/customer targetingForecast launch demand to ensure adequate product supplyDevelop KOL strategy and create physician champions for the productCollaborate with Public Affairs in deciding and executing appropriate media communicationsTrack and report launch progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders regularlyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
Bachelor’s degreeMinimum of 4 years in medical device product marketing or 4 years medical device sales in cardiovascular spaceStrong written and verbal communication capabilities requiredWilling to travel 40%, including extended overnight and global (as the pandemic permits)Must know how to win friends & influence peopleMust be proactive and results orientedProficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applicationsPreferred
MBA strongly preferredClass III device product launch experience is strongly preferredDemonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skillsPlease note that the salary range listed is our full grade range. We usually hire based on the mid-point.

The base pay for this position is $75,300.00 – $150,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
