The Media Production Team delivers high-quality visual content that enhances learning experiences and drives engagement across Amazon's transportation network. As an Associate Producer you will be an integral part of our visual storytelling team, maintaining exceptional production standards across all deliverables.
In this role, you will oversee end-to-end project management of media productions, from initial scoping through final delivery. Your responsibilities include pre-production planning, location scouting, and coordinating with project managers to ensure smooth execution of shoots. You will work collaboratively with a small team to capture professional-quality video and audio content while maintaining high production standards.
You will be expected to develop innovative solutions that allow us to meet growing demand while maintaining quality, and to partner closely with stakeholders throughout the production process.
Success in this role requires someone who obsesses over understanding stakeholder needs, ensures every project aligns with business objectives, and can leverage visual narratives to make complex concepts accessible and memorable.

Key job responsibilities
• Partner with creative teams to develop and execute strategic content ideas while maintaining authentic representations of operations
• Demonstrate expertise in production techniques including camera work, lighting, and on-site shooting protocols
• Lead end-to-end project management from creative conception through final delivery, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards
• Manage multiple concurrent productions while adhering to strict timelines and budgets
• Provide creative direction and solutions during production while maintaining professional standards and safety protocols
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements while maintaining project timelines
• Collaborate on creative development through all phases including scoping, concepting, and execution
• Oversee multiple workstreams simultaneously including live action, photography, video, and post-production
• Follow all safety and compliance protocols during productions
• Understanding of A/V specs and file formats, workflows and timelines within a marketing, production company, or editorial house
• Understanding of show post-production workflows and storage needs
• Experience managing and delivering large volumes of video assets to external partners
• Experience working in an environment with multiple stakeholders
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in production and post production
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in an industry role
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- 2+ years of experience in video production or related field
- Knowledge of video editing software (DaVinci Resolve or similar programs)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
- Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in corporate or broadcast video production
- Experience working in live production environments
- Strong visual sense and creative problem-solving abilities
- Experience with production scheduling and logistics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $94,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
