Associate Procurement Manager

We are seeking an Associate Procurement Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives aimed at optimizing raw material and packaging costs, while ensuring consistent quality and supply reliability. This role involves close collaboration with regional and global category teams, utilizing Total Delivered Cost (TDC) tools and market intelligence to drive cost savings, enhance supply chain resilience, and improve operational efficiency. The incumbent manages supplier relationships, negotiates contracts/agreements, and ensures adherence to corporate procurement policies and ethical standards. A strong understanding of market dynamics, particularly within Indonesia, and the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives are key to success in this position

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to reduce raw material costs while maintaining quality and supply reliability.Applying the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process tool and skill to execute the sourcing initiativeWork and collaborate with the Regional Category team to execute global/regional sourcing strategiesEnsure the consistent supply-ability and resolve the unforeseen shortage with timely reasonable contingency plan.Cross-functional collaboration to execute the best sourcing strategies to drive savings, resiliency and operation efficiency improvementUnderstand Indonesia market insights, commodity price tendency and determine the appropriate procurement tactics for strategic raw material, packages, etc.Develop the update procurement procedure and manage existing suppliers’ agreements or commercial proposal(s).Sourcing alternative sources that contribute to saving value, supply security and recommending the best preferred supplier(s) for Ecolab.Continuously utilize the market intelligence tools and monitor market information and feedstock trends within the direct categories.Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities such as cost savings to the managementDevelop Continuous Improvement Programs on a yearly basisEnsure full corporate procurement compliance and ethics with all applicable regulatory and standards.Maintain strict adherence to the Code of Conduct (COC) policy.

Job Requirements:

Min Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain ManagementMin Experience 5 years in the Chemical industry in Direct Procurement is a plusStrong Negotiation and Contract Management skillsExcellent Analytical and Problem-Solving abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Good English language skills both oral and written is a must.
