What you will do

Are you ready to help bring innovative medical products to life? We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Associate Procurement Manager – NPI to join our Joint Replacement division. In this role, you'll play a key part in sourcing critical products in the right suppliers to support exciting new product launches—balancing quality, service, and cost to maximize stakeholder value.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead strategic sourcing efforts, negotiate pricing, contracts, and manage supplier relationships in support of Procurement and project goals. From cost-reduction initiatives and supply base optimization to risk assessments and quality improvements, your work will directly impact the success of our new products and our patients' outcomes.

This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds: flexibility to work from home and the opportunity to collaborate in person at our Mahwah, NJ office as needed. 

Drive Strategic Sourcing Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute world-class sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and growth initiatives.Lead Analytical Decision-Making: Support supplier and commodity strategies through detailed spend analysis, supply assessments, and strategic consolidation efforts to ensure we’re delivering value across quality, cost, and service.Shape Supplier Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers while representing their voice within the organization to foster transparency and long-term success.Negotiate with Purpose: Assist in building robust contract strategies—including negotiating terms, managing performance, and ensuring compliance to deliver best-in-class agreements.Support Product Launches: Be a key player in new product introductions by leading supplier selection, managing RFQs, and aligning supplier deliverables to launch timelines.Deliver Business Impact: Support the creation of cost standards and help establish financial baselines to guide annual operating budgets and strategic planning.

What you need

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply management, Business, Finance, Engineering or related6 years of experience in supply chain management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development or related skillsExperience in the application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms, and contract administrationAnalytical skills, ability to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasksExperience with reading/interpreting drawings and models for purposes of manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications

Technical experience in the following areas: ERP system, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePointExperience leading stakeholder negotiations and managementExperience with project management

105,100.00 - 172,300.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
