Associate Print Production Manager
Location: Stratham, New HampshireJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $40 - 47 per hourWe are seeking a Print Production Specialist to manage the entire lifecycle of our high-volume, seasonally driven packaging projects (e.g., Christmas, Easter). This demanding role requires advanced technical knowledge, particularly in Gravure and Litho print processes, to ensure every design is optimized for execution.Responsibilities: Review art files for print feasibility, providing critical guidance to our designers to ensure files are optimized for the intended print process. Apply your advanced knowledge of print processes, specifically Gravure and Litho, to assess and resolve technical challenges. Oversee all aspects of print production, including vendor communication, pre-press preparation, and proofing processes. Serve as the primary liaison between our creative team and external print vendors, ensuring seamless execution and resolving color and quality issues. Create and prepare production-ready art files and line extensions, ensuring all technical specifications are met for our pre-media and production partners. Partner with Product Development and Packaging Engineering to validate material and finish compatibility, ensuring project feasibility from concept to completion. Project & Workflow Management Manage flawless execution for high-volume, fast-paced, seasonally driven projects (e.g., Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day). Your experience with these types of projects is a significant plus due to their complexity and strict deadlines. Upload and manage print specs and vendor proofs in our system (WebCenter), maintaining these documents as the "single source of truth." Collaborate closely with Creative Project Management to ensure all project timelines and milestones are met. Maintain meticulous version control and accurate archiving of all production-ready files. Qualifications: A seasoned print production professional with 5-8 years of experience in print production, packaging, or prepress. You possess a Bachelor's degree in Print, Graphic Communications, Packaging, or a related field. You have an exceptional blend of technical print expertise and design savvy. You have a strong ability to guide designers on how to build and structure their print files for optimal results. You have a proven track record of managing and executing complex, high-volume seasonal print projects. You are a clear and confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with both creative and technical teams.
