ROLE SUMMARY
The Associate, Payroll - Global Time and Attendance Team is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of all payroll time and attendance activities for assigned payroll cycles/populations/markets. This includes participation in project work, testing of systems, processing, validation, balancing, audit compliance, exceptions, repayments, off-cycle, post-payroll, and annual processes.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Human Resources, OR related field required OR associate degree with 2 years relevant experience.Proficient written and verbal English communication skills are required.Intermediate written and verbal German communication skills are required.Intermediate communication skills in Portuguese are a plus but not required.Desired experience in multinationals, shared services or finance related if applicable.Experience in timekeeping, payroll, accounting, or human resources.Communication and customer service skillsProblem solving, analytical skills, data analysis. Capability to manage complex/critical scenarios.Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Workday, ADP, Kronos, Workforce Manager or other common HCM, payroll and time & attendance systems In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processingCertified Payroll Professional, or similar professional designationADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS
Must be able to work in Pfizer Costa Rica office 2-3 days per week or as needed by the business.
