**Introduction**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP Sales and Delivery Executive, Associate Partner to lead SAP-related business development and delivery initiatives in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client engagements, and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP solutions in alignment with IBM’s global standards. This role requires strong expertise in SAP technologies, proven leadership in sales and delivery, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives across industries.
As an Associate Partner, you will play a pivotal role in expanding IBM’s footprint in Qatar, leveraging SAP solutions to address client business needs and drive digital transformation
**Your role and responsibilities**
Sales and Business Development:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities for SAP solutions across industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, government, and finance.
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to grow IBM’s SAP practice in Qatar.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, positioning IBM as a trusted SAP solution provider.
* Manage the sales pipeline, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
* Client Engagement:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during SAP engagements, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and business priorities.
* Understand client pain points and propose tailored SAP solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
* Develop trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives to drive SAP solution adoption.
* Delivery Management:
* Oversee the successful delivery of SAP projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with client expectations and IBM standards.
* Lead project teams and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
* Manage risks and resolve challenges during project execution.
* Ensure seamless collaboration between client teams, IBM consultants, and SAP delivery partners.
* Solution Expertise:
* Provide deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and related technologies, including ERP, analytics, cloud, and industry-specific solutions.
* Drive the adoption of SAP best practices and ensure solutions align with client industry standards and business goals.
* Collaborate with IBM’s global SAP teams to bring innovative solutions to the Qatar market.
* Leadership and Team Building:
* Mentor and manage cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Build and grow IBM’s SAP delivery capability in Qatar, including recruitment and development of local talent.
* Actively contribute to IBM’s SAP practice growth by sharing insights and lessons learned from engagements.
* Market Strategy and Growth:
* Develop strategies to expand IBM’s SAP presence in Qatar, aligning with regional and global goals.
* Represent IBM at industry events, forums, and conferences to showcase SAP capabilities.
* Collaborate with IBM’s leadership to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the SAP space.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
* Experience:
* 10+ years of experience in SAP solution sales and delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Proven expertise in selling and delivering SAP S/4HANA solutions across industries.
* Strong understanding of business processes and industry-specific challenges in sectors such as oil and gas, manufacturing, and government.
* Experience managing large-scale SAP transformation projects and working with senior stakeholders.
* Skills:
* Proven track record in SAP solution sales, including pipeline management, deal closure, and relationship building.
* Strong delivery management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
* Deep knowledge of SAP technologies, including S/4HANA, analytics, cloud, and integration capabilities.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage teams, mentor junior consultants, and collaborate effectively across global teams.
* Other:
* Experience in the GCC region, particularly Qatar, is highly preferred.
* Willingness to travel as required for client engagements and business development
