At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments (12c or later).Manage WebLogic domains, clusters, managed servers, and node managers.Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Java EE applications (WAR, EAR, JAR) on WebLogic Server.Perform patching, upgrades, and security hardening of WebLogic infrastructure.Automate deployments and routine tasks using WLST, Shell, or Python scripts.Configure and manage JMS, JDBC, and data sources within WebLogic.Collaborate with development, QA, and network teams to resolve performance issues and improve application stability.Monitor server health using management tools and logs; perform proactive tuning.Analyze thread dumps, heap dumps, and GC logs for troubleshooting.Maintain documentation on configurations, procedures, and issues.Participate in on-call rotation for production support and incident management.Ensure compliance with documentation standards and internal policies.

Years of Experience Required:
3–6 years of hands-on expertise in Oracle WebLogic Server administration.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Relevant Oracle or middleware certifications preferred.
