Associate Operations Manager, Quality Inspection

Primary Summary:

The Associate Operations Manager, Quality Inspection directs operations to ensure compliance with departmental standards and company methods. Oversees, drives and enforces operational rigor through metrics, analytics and reporting. Determines workload for staff, including delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance. Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities of all direct reports are defined and understood.

Essential Functions:

Supports all Operations activities (Logistics, Inspection and Customer Service) on a daily basis to ensure 100% quality, delivery and customer satisfaction - both urgent and long term - to the internal Sales Reps and external Customers

Promotes and creates a high level of engagement within the team and ensures that all team members work towards established and communicated goals

Evaluates and improves operations processes on quality, efficiency and effectiveness

Carries out inventory analysis and maintains proper stock levels, makes recommendations where suitable

Execute established budget and forecast in collaboration with Operations leadership and Finance to achieve operational success

Builds and enhances a strong team culture within Operations

Performs other duties as assigned

Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.

Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience

Strong and proven people leadership skills (coaching, motivating, guiding, improving, performing). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated leadership and team building experience including the ability to effectively drive change to drive the business forward

Significant Medical Device manufacturing/warehouse experience

Experience in Medical Device, Spine, or Orthopedics industry preferred
