Work Flexibility: Hybrid

This role will lead the setup and continuous development of a robust 3PL management system in Hong Kong, managing 3PLs and interfacing with commercial and other functional teams with the objective to optimize the utilization of working capital and increase service levels for customers. This role will also play a critical part in management of short term & long term consignment kits and drive efficiency & accuracy of the process with 3PL The planning team also has dotted line reporting into this role; the role has overall ownership of all supply chain related processes for HK.

You will lead the Operations team in HK and collaborate with the outsourced Order Management team to enhance the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process flow and ultimately drive the optimal cost-to-serve model. You will also partner with the Planning team to monitor inventory levels for stock allocation and fulfilment, and to provide timely responses to customers’ enquiries.

What you will do

•Be the change agent in leading & fine-tuning the 3PL management process including kit management, achieving this through a close working relationship with Order Management, Commercial and other functional teams.•Partner with commercial team, local planning & regional planning teams to setup best in class inventory management processes•Be the primary contact for regular reviews with 3PLs to drive and improve performance quality. •Own the physical inventory control together with 3PL and maintain high inventory accuracy & minimize any stock variance•Work with Order Management to define the relevant master data setup in internal systems to ensure the end-to-end process efficiency.•Own and drive functional improvements through root cause analysis and problem solving.•Work with IT to deploy systems and tool strategies. to simplify & automate processes •Define and analyze operational KPIs, and develop improvement strategies and plans •Triage and resolve any issues or customer complaints based on process and data analytics•Support Supply Chain leaders in driving down the total Variable Manufacturing Cost.•Support the implementation of the Corporate and East Asia/HK supply chain structure and objectives.•KPIs – Inventory, Excess & Slow moving Inventory, Service Level, Supply Chain Cost

What you need

•Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related fields•Excellent data processing and analytical skills•Results-oriented with strong negotiation & influencing skills•Confidence and flair in managing stakeholder expectations and lead discussions•Minimally 6 years of working experience in 3PL management in MNC commercial settings. Medical Device experience is an advantage•Fluent in verbal and written English to communicate with different stakeholders in the process.•JDE / SAP implementation experience a strong plus.
