As an Associate Omni-Channel Analyst, you'll join the Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) team, leveraging data to drive Guest satisfaction and business outcomes.
The Associate Omni-Channel Analyst is an entry-level contributor to the Data Analytics & Innovation (DAI) team within Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA), part of Disney Experiences (DX). This role supports the development and enhancement of production data assets used across a wide range of business units and operational teams for reporting, dashboards, and analytical insights.
This position is ideal for someone who is curious about data, eager to learn, and interested in understanding how raw data is transformed into reliable, scalable assets. The analyst will work closely with business partners to understand data needs, identify appropriate source data, and define transformation logic. They will assist in writing clear, structured requirements for engineering and support testing and validation efforts to ensure accuracy and usability of the final data products.
This position reports to the Manager, Omni-Channel Analytics and does not have direct reports.
**What** **You’ll** **Do**
Requirements Development
+ Collaborate with business partners to understand operational and analytical data needs
+ Identify appropriate source data and define transformation logic to meet business objectives
+ Assist in writing example SQL code that produces expected output for a sample time period, including explanatory comments and clean formatting
+ Create and maintain code-agnostic data mapping documents that align with example code and clearly describe source-to-target logic
+ Contribute to project charters that define scope, background, dependencies, scheduling, and testing needs
Process Enhancement and Support
+ Focus on updating and enhancing existing production data assets
+ Support development of new data processes with lower complexity
+ Partner with engineering and testing teams to ensure accurate implementation and validation
+ Participate in quality assurance and anomaly detection to confirm data reliability
Documentation and Collaboration
+ Maintain clear and thorough documentation of transformation logic, assumptions, and validation rules
+ Engage with internal teams to understand downstream usage and ensure alignment with analytical goals
+ Support efforts to make data assets discoverable, reusable, and scalable
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
+ Education or experience with relational or cloud databases
+ Exposure to SQL, R, and/or Python
+ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work on time
+ Effective communication and collaboration skills
+ Attention to detail and a desire to learn
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with Adobe Analytics or similar tools
+ Exposure to digital or contact center data
+ Background in hospitality or eCommerce analytics
**Education**
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, marketing analytics, finance, engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
