Job Description
A client is looking for an Associate Network & Systems Specialist to sit onsite in Nyack, NY. This person will be responsible for supporting network and systems technologies within a local district. This person will be working closely with customer end-users to maintain and improve the environment. They will be troubleshooting escalated tickets through ServiceNow that could require Google Workspace, AD, or O365 administration, diagnosing and resolving networking issues, or configuring routers, switches or VLANs. This person will also be contributing to projects to migrate, upgrade, and enhance systems throughout the district. This person will be working directly with faculty and students, so they must have a strong customer service background and excellent communication skills. This person needs to be comfortable with pay between $32-38/hr depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements
5-7+ years of experience in technical support roles
Strong background diagnosing and troubleshooting end-user systems and network incidents
Experience utilizing a ticketing system for incident prioritization and documentation
Hands-on networking experience in a Cisco environment, configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, and VLANs
Experience with either Google Workspace or O365 administration including user management, security settings, and email filtering
Strong Active Directory administration and group policy management
Strong customer service skills and communication Experience in the education industry
Certifications in the systems or networking space null
