Associate Medical Education Manager - National Programs (Remote)

The Associate Manager, Medical Education – National Programs leads the design and delivery of impactful HCP education programs aligned with divisional priorities. The role develops content, defines learning objectives, partners with KOLs and cross‑functional teams, and provides on‑site leadership to ensure high‑quality program execution. It also manages recruitment, communication, budgets, and performance metrics across national programs, analyzing outcomes and identifying improvements. This position builds strong stakeholder relationships, mentors others, and ensures Medical Education initiatives deliver meaningful value to customers and the business.

What you will do:

Facilitate HCP medical education programs by applying technical expertise and leading agenda and content development.Monitor and assess competitive market positioning, including key competitor strengths and weaknesses, to inform strategic decision‑making.Collaborate with key opinion leaders to design and facilitate educational materials.Responsible for developing and managing customer-facing strategy, content and education programs. Conduct on-going evaluation of training programs including recommendations for improvement. Defines key learning objectives for training curriculum.Lead and execute negotiations for third‑party contracts, ensuring terms align with business, financial, and compliance requirements.Owns the commercialization and execution of the overall medical education options offered by the divisionManage education program activities through on‑site leadership and direct engagement with HCPs and Stryker customers to ensure a high‑quality experience.Develop, facilitate and/or participate in training for sales and/or Marketing employees.Analyzes metrics and appraises the effectiveness of education methods, costs, and results. Engage and query the key stakeholders to ensure appropriate educational program utilization.Contribute to the development of MedEd programs, strategic plans, and long‑term vision; collaborate with marketing leaders to assess business priorities and support new product launches; communicate short‑ to mid‑term portfolio strategy to MedEd to ensure organizational alignment.Defines performance criteria used for evaluating business trends and activities.Recognizes methods for improving existing business performance.Develops network of key opinion leaders (KOL) to support platform offerings and assists in developing communication strategy for target customer audience. Recommend and implement plans for medical education commercialization, voice of customer and onsite programsAbility to allocate resources (including people) and optimize the value of MedEd programs aligned with business objectives.Maintain awareness of developing trends in medical education and appropriately adjust program content and instructional design.Manage current educational resources and develop new tools/platforms for product training events and workshops to enhance quality of education and training.Cascade divisional/medical education branding and strategy Support and implement new Medical Education branding to drive excellence in our industryCollaborates and influences others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectivesDevelops key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions, in collaboration with other marketing leaders


Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field required.Minimum 6 years of experience in medical education, healthcare marketing, clinical education, training or similar program management requiredExperience facilitating HCP education programs, developing curriculum, and managing educational content.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with KOLs, cross‑functional teams, and external stakeholders.Proven experience with program execution, including logistics, on‑site leadership, and customer/HCP engagement.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)



Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):

Master’s degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences or Business Administration preferred. 3 years of medical device or Medical Education experience preferredExperience supporting commercialization, new product launches, and strategic portfolio planning.Prior experience working closely with sales, marketing, and clinical affairs in a matrixed environment.Experience leading curriculum strategy, educational platform development, or digital learning tools.Demonstrated ability to develop KOL networks, shape long‑term MedEd strategy, and influence senior leaders.

$89,300 - $193,400 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 40%
