Associate Manager Talent Acquisition

The Associate Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for providing full life cycle recruitment while also potentially overseeing the day-to-day operations of a small recruiting team focusing on early talent hiring and handle lateral hiring requirements. As a strategic talent advisor, s/he builds partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and diverse recruitment sources while maintaining excellent relationships across TA, the business, and key campuses. S/he will be responsible for ensuring the project management and execution of all campus recruitment for Stryker in Inda. In addition to driving a culture of continuous improvement and development, s/he will inspire a team of recruiters to achieve greatness, lead projects/initiatives that propel our capability, and deliver flawless execution to the business. Role may be hybrid with travel to Stryker primary locations and colleges.
Recruit
- Utilize your strength and passion in generating early talent colleges and candidates by leveraging all advanced recruiting tools and techniques to identify and acquire top talent
- Define and execute the best candidate attraction strategies
- Articulate a compelling career opportunity based on the candidate’s motivation
- Conduct initial assessment with candidates to assess technical skills and cultural fit and skillfully present candidate match & value to hiring team
- Ensure outstanding candidate experience throughout entire recruitment lifecycle
- Be a subject matter expert in your area of recruitment through knowledge of market data
Advise & Lead
- Listen to and understand the needs and motivations of all stakeholders
- Provide hiring teams expert guidance and consultation on recruitment process, policy, technology, industry trends and best practices
- Advise and influence hiring managers with insightful market data that shapes recruitment approach and decision making
- Communicate consistently and proactively to ensure alignment and remove barriers
- Tactfully drive the hiring process to meet aggressive KPIs
- Accurately manage candidate / requisition lifecycle in ATS to ensure data integrity for reporting Manage
- Lead directly/indirectly a small team of recruiters which include the identification, selection, development, engagement, and promotion of team members
- Set objectives, manage performance, mentor, coach and develop recruiters into a high functioning team to ensure current and future business hiring needs are met in a timely, effective and cost-efficient professional manner
- Be a change champion, promoting a culture that embraces continuous improvement
- Responsible for monitoring, reporting and driving talent acquisition metrics and performance (Example: time to accept, time to present, Diversity, Client Satisfaction) and analyzing trends to identify and solve potential issues before they become issues
Innovate
- Identify recruitment market trends, tools, technologies and share best practices
- Participate in projects, implement best practices, embrace change and help improve the overall talent acquisition function
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Minimum requirements
• 8+ years of work experience Preferred qualifications
• Preferred candidates will have 4+ years of a mix of recruiting experience.
• Experience of independently leading/managing recruiting projects, campus programs, leading people is preferable.
Must be able to manage time, projects, stress, and conflict
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communication
• Must be able to multitask and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
• Must be able to negotiate effectively
