Lead Maintenance Civil
Operational Planning and Resource Management:
Develop and implement weekly and daily work plans according to the approved L-3 level schedule for civil structures.
Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Resolve issues promptly and escalate complex challenges to the Head of Civil Maintenance, as needed.
Manage the process of raising purchase requisitions (PRs), reservations, and bill processing in SAP, ensuring efficient procurement and material usage.
Ensure permits (PTW) are raised in SAP and timely approvals are obtained.
Conduct reconciliation of free issue materials and maintain accurate inventory management to prevent non-moving inventory (NMI) issues.
Resolve and close defects notification in SAP.
Coordinate with business associates and ensure maintenance of roads, pipelines, and other infrastructure for long-term durability and functionality.
Provide inputs for budget planning, aligning financial resources with departmental objectives and sustainability goals.
Provide inputs for Training need identification and facilitate feedback sessions.
Perform investigation in case of incidents or near-miss related to civil.
Quality Control and Project Execution:
Prepare bills of quantities (BoQ) and coordinate with head of department for approval for civil works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Certify measurements and process contractor bills, maintaining transparency and accountability in financial transactions.
Ensure all civil modifications and new constructions adhere to technical specifications and are documented using AutoCAD.
Coordinate with the Head of Civil Maintenance for the approval of BoQs and ensure proper implementation of modifications and new construction.
Maintain comprehensive records of drawings, safety documents, and joint measurement certifications (JMR).
Ensure third party inspection of safety equipment are done in a timely manner and healthiness certifications of equipment are obtained.
Raise NFA (Note for Approval) for any civil modifications on the system and follow up for approvals.
Ensure implementation of actionables and adherance to standards based on technical audit observations.
Business Sustainability:
Implement and follow IMS, AWMS, DISHA, CHETNA guidelines, and other safety protocols within the department.
Participate in safety audits and drives, contributing to the development and implementation of safety protocols.
Record and monitor safety observations for the assigned area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Ensure the safety of personnel including business associates and equipment through proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
Oversee the maintenance of roads, pipelines, and corrosion mitigation of other infrastructure to ensure long-term durability and functionality.
Address compliance to technical audits, safety audits, and business excellence assessments, ensuring continuous improvement.
Ensure zero harm in the workplace and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Support comprehensive digitization strategies to optimise operational efficiency.
Innovate and implement automation solutions to support overall organisational goals / strategy.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree/B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required
Work Experience (Range of years):
7+ years of experience in civil maintenance, with a focus on structural integrity and corrosion mitigation.
Preferred Industry:
Experience in the power plant industry or similar industrial settings with exposure to large-scale infrastructure maintenance is preferred.
