**About the Role:**
Collins Aerospace is seeking a passionate and driven **Associate Manager** to lead our **Power & Controls TechDocs Team** . This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in aerospace documentation and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams. You will oversee the development of industry-compliant technical manuals and engineering documentation that support the maintenance and operation of aerospace components.

**What You’ll Do:**
+ **Lead a multidisciplinary team** of technical writers, illustrators, portal administrators, and engineering documentation support professionals.
+ Ensure timely delivery of **accurate, clear, and compliant** technical documentation aligned with aerospace standards such as **ATA100, iSpec 2200, and S1000D** .
+ Interpret complex **engineering drawings and specifications** to support manual development.
+ Champion **process excellence** by implementing **LEAN, CORE methodologies** , and **RLPM practices** .
+ Develop and execute team **competency frameworks** and **individual development plans** to support long-term capability building.
+ Drive **departmental performance** including objective setting, recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and career development.
+ Create a team culture focused on **ownership, accountability, and innovation** .
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to support **business development initiatives** and **project execution** .
**What You Bring:**
+ 8–12 years of relevant experience, ideally in the creation of **aerospace maintenance manuals** or engineering documentation.
+ Strong understanding of **Power & Controls systems** is a distinct advantage.
+ Proven ability to lead and mentor teams while managing multiple priorities.
+ Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
+ Deep familiarity with aerospace standards, documentation tools, and industry best practices.
+ Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and comfortable working in dynamic environments.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience in **project management** or **business development** roles.
+ Strong passion for **team building** , continuous learning, and process optimization.
