Associate Manager, Technical Training
**What you will do** This Associate Manager, Technical Training manages the Technical Training team members in an assigned region/area/function to ensure the successful alignment and execution of Technical Training strategies, initiatives, and processes. Responsible for aspects of Technical Training including the design, coordination, and deployment of role-based training. **Additional responsibilities:** + Provide leadership and supervision to team members, oversee progress, coach as needed, and ensure adequate coverage for all team functions. + Ensure training processes comply with regulatory standards and quality requirements; develop systems to drive training benchmarks and monitor effectiveness. + Continually assess training strategies, programs, and metrics, implementing improvements and systemic solutions as appropriate. + Assist with training tasks in the Change Control process to ensure accurate role-based training and support or own actions for NC/CAPAs related to training outcomes or processes. + Ensure all US & Canada sites maintain compliance with Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitor progress, and take timely action to address adverse trends and deviations. + Participate in or lead Communities of Practice (COPs), assist in establishing training standards, and develop procedures that ensure effective training delivery. + Partner with leadership to assess training needs, determine priorities, and translate them into actionable training requirements for the team. + Collect and present training performance metrics to leadership during periodic meetings and forums such as the Quality Systems Management Review. + Represent Technical Training during audits and inspections, support training record and qualification evidence requests, and monitor SLMS data changes that may impact training. + Collaborate with the Global SLMS Shared Services Team on platform upgrades and enhancements, ensure SLA compliance, identify process improvements, and empower stakeholders to drive and sustain training success. **What you need** Required qualifications + Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of equivalent work experience in addition to the below requirements + 6+ years of work experience + Knowledge of training needs analysis, instructional/program design, development and evaluation, adult learning concepts and learning methodologies + Experience supporting technical training for the Global Quality Operations (GQO) organization Preferred qualifications + Master’s Degree preferred + 4+ years of technical training experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry with knowledge of manufacturing standards and practices, including quality and compliance issues + Demonstrated experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), document management, and change control processes + Demonstrated expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design, and technical training content development, including eLearning formats + Preferred candidate will sit near a Stryker location $87,600-143,600 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
