As an associate manager, social media, you will…

Work with a team to create engaging social content, including video, images, text, and live streams Collaborate with creative teams to develop innovative social media campaigns aligned with brand and marketing goals Contribute to the development of influencer programs, brand activations, and real-time engagement Support strategic and tactical recommendations inspired by customer insights Identify opportunities to drive traffic, relevance, and human connection in innovative ways Partner with agencies and internal teams in developing innovative campaigns and activations, driving channel growth and evolving at the speed of social Stay current with social media trends and best practices

We’d love to hear from people with:

Social/digital marketing experience at brands and/or digital agencies (1-3 years). Proven ability to concept and execute creative content for social media platforms - concepting, shooting and editing, and copywriting.  Proven ability to generate original ideas and contribute to the development impactful, innovative campaigns. Nuanced understanding of customer engagement. Familiarity with social listening tools.  Strong knowledge of social platform capabilities and user behavior

Required Skills and Abilities

Concise, compelling communicator -- persuasive and articulate.  Knack for solving creative problems in effective ways. Ability to think innovatively and internalize guidance for creative development. Comfortable working in ambiguity with tight timelines. Ability to channel a customer-first approach to creative ideas. Strong, positive working style - ability to elevate the ideas of others.  Genuine desire to learn and push boundaries and embrace fresh thinking.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

 

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

 

If you live in the greater Seattle area, we offer a flexible workplace that allows for hybrid work. Partners can work remotely up to two days per week.
