What you will do-
The Associate Manager, Finance BI, designs, develops, and maintains reports, datasets, dashboards, and processes that enhance financial reporting, improve performance visibility, reduce risk, and drive operational efficiency across Stryker Latin America.
Partner with FIA and BES teams to deliver standardized, scalable, and self-service solutions for LatAm Finance stakeholders. Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for JD Edwards (JDE) and Clarity BI - our analytics platform providing standardized reports across key business areas - ensuring accurate, consistent, and unified data for operational and analytical needs. Drive strong data governance practices to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance across all solutions. Foster cross-functional collaboration within Stryker to leverage expertise, align priorities, promote data adoption, and manage expectations on scope and timelines.

Your focus will be on:
1) Act as SME for JDE and Clarity BI systems
Collaborate with IT and the Lead Data Engineer from the BES team to support the development and implementation of Clarity BI systems. Gain deep understanding of data flows between systems to enable self-service solutions and Power BI reporting across Stryker Latin America.
2) Design and Build Standardized Datasets and Reports
Collaborate with the FIA team to design and implement standardized, scalable data models and key set of reports for EMEA and LATAM. Consolidate data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, and others) into unified datasets, incorporating key business calculations (e.g., run rate, variance to budget) using advanced DAX measures in Microsoft Fabric. Ensure these models are optimized for self-service analytics and easily accessible to users.
3) Data Governance
Collaborate with the FIA team to create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data architecture, business metric definitions, calculation logic, and user guides. Implement and enforce strict data governance standards for report and dataset access. Serve as the primary business point of contact for data integrity in LATAM. Develop and execute validation and review protocols to ensure accuracy and quality of data solutions. Partner with IT and business teams to identify and resolve data integrity issues promptly.
4) Promote Data Adoption and Support Ad-Hoc Needs
Work with your manager to deliver training sessions for LatAm stakeholders on leveraging data analytics tools to drive informed business decisions and improve daily operations. Use ad-hoc requests as opportunities to support the business while educating users on the underlying logic and best practices, fostering data literacy and self-sufficiency.
What you need-
