Responsibilities:

The Global Manufacturing and Quality Learning and Development (GMQLD) team is dedicated to delivering learning solutions that empower Lilly’s Manufacturing and Quality organizations to achieve our mission: making medicine with safety first and quality always.

This role is responsible for supporting the execution of the L&D program build and L&D Site Team onboarding to enable operational readiness and production of medicines at new Lilly manufacturing sites globally.

The role requires an understanding of L&D processes and systems enabling detailed activities and organization to enable site-specific needs aligned with global practices while ensuring a high level of audit and inspection readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

New Manufacturing Site Learning and Development Support: 

Support the learning and development needs of new sites starting at site announcement through site operational readinessManage project plans and smartsheets driving activities for L&D site program buildOwn and conduct curricula architecture, course and curricula management activitiesResponsible for data analysis to inform New Site curricula and other activitiesServe as subject matter expert on global L&D processesServe as technical resource on global L&D technologiesProvide ongoing coaching and guidance to site L&D resourcesEnable communication mechanisms across new sites to drive shared learningsProvide reports as required to inform updates or drive actionsSupport onboarding and qualification of New Site L&D Team

Business Partner Relationships

Serve as liaison with third party resources managing learning plan administrationUnderstand CoE processes, tools, etc. to ensure alignment of global activities with local site needsPartner with cross-functional teams and the Global MQ L&D CoE and L&D Networks to align on learning prioritiesActively participate in Network L&D meetings to remain connected to L&D communitySupport change management and communication for new or updated training programsAnticipate and resolve project/program issues, escalating as appropriate

Basic Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree2 years of training and facilitation experience in a manufacturing environmentQualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$57,750 - $129,800

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
