Join Our Team as an Associate Logistics Coordinator Shipping

Responsibilities:

Assist with the processing of inbound and outbound shipping, communication with couriers, and identifying and solving issues.Support the day-to-day operations of shipments containing clinical trial supplies and samples.Ensure a high level of support, service, reliability, and availability to internal departments.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalentTwo years logistics experience in clinical trials or equivalent education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent client and phone service skills.Intermediate level of computer literacy.Accurate data entry skills.Outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills.Excellent verbal communications and customer service skills in English languageCritical thinking and problem-solving skills to support quality decision-making.Proven negotiation and problem resolution skills.Maintains confidentiality of client protocols and study data.

Additional / Specific Job Responsibilities:

Report to Team Lead Site Services or above.Pack, prepare paperwork for, and monitor outbound shipments of re-supply orders, Inter Company Transfers, and material for other departments (IT, HR...) shipped out of PPD GCL.Responsible for monitoring of temperature-controlled supplies stored at PPD GCL.Contact couriers to follow up and arrange pickups of shipments delivered in error at PPD GCL.Manage urgent requests for pre-printed AWBs for sites.Monitor stock and manage re-order process for courier-provided shipping material (packaging, labels, pouches...).Support the site services logistics coordinators.Coordinate the review and action required on custom reports.Support the investigation and resolution of Quality Events.
