Discover Impactful Work:

As an Associate Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible and accountable for the ordering, receiving, processing, storing, shipment and delivery, return drug accountability, reconciliation and destruction of clinical supplies returned by the clinical sites of drug products and medical devices for assigned studies. Performs local purchases activities as per request. Responsible for logistics coordination of moderate to complex studies with little to no supervision. Actively problem solves and suggests solutions to logistics challenges.

A day in the Life:

Issue Pro-forma invoice for shipments from kit vendors to sites.Maintains the Proforma mailbox, sending proforma invoices to the IOR for approval, making any changes required and release to kit vendor for shipment.Maintains courier contact sheets and starter packs for couriers.Responsible for daily interaction with clients/IOR to ensure correct delivery of supply orders to clinical sites.Escalates to Project Manager and/or designee when client/IOR is unresponsive and study timelines are impacted.Point of contact for issues and questions related to proforma invoices for supply orders, Starter Packs and Courier Contact Sheets.

May assist with or participate in:

solving courier issues and managing courier operations, sample pickups or deliveries of supplies.Arranging pickups and looking for contingencies when sites are unable to work with the assigned courier.Courier operational meetings and reports to Senior Level/Team Lead/Manager any issue or concern.

High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationPrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 
to 1 year)Technical positions may require a certificate

Experience

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years).In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Proficient in English (verbal and written).Strong computer skills: solid understanding of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Microsoft Word is required.Proven understanding of the Clinical Supply process, such as manufacturing, handling, importing, shipping, exporting, auditing, labeling and packagingStrong organizational, planning and time management skillsPlanning analytical skillsGood analytical skills and ability to work on issues of a diverse and confidential natureStrong customer service orientation and attention to detail aligned with high standards of quality and excellenceAdaptive to changes and ability to handle high-pressure situationsAbility to work in a team environment as well as work independently with moderate direct supervisionAbility to use proper channels of communications to voice concerns and suggestions
