Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Associate - Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our landscape architecture department, you will lead the design and execution of innovative and sustainable landscape projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead the conceptualization, design, and technical development of complex landscape architecture projects from initial concept through construction documentationManage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and the highest quality standardsCollaborate closely with internal teams (urban design, architecture, engineering) and external consultants to ensure seamless design integration and technical coherenceOversee the preparation of drawings, specifications, and tender documentation, with a strong understanding of regional practices and local climate considerationsSupervise and mentor junior and mid-level landscape architects, providing guidance on technical detailing, documentation standards, and best practicesAct as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, participating in meetings, design reviews, and site visits to provide technical expertise and resolve design or construction issuesContribute to business development efforts by assisting in project proposals, fee development, and resource planningStay current with industry trends, sustainable practices, and local regulations to ensure innovative and compliant design solutionsConduct quality control reviews of work produced by the team to maintain consistency with project requirements and office standardsSupport the strategic growth of the landscape team by identifying technical gaps and opportunities for innovation

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture; Master's degree in Landscape ArchitectureMinimum of 12 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a proven track record of managing complex projectsProficiency in landscape design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative SuiteStrong knowledge of sustainable landscape practices and their application in arid climatesExcellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneouslyIn-depth understanding of local building codes, regulations, and environmental considerations specific to the UAE and wider Middle East regionASLA or international equivalent certification preferred
