Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Associate - Landscape to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our landscape design practice, you will contribute to the creation of sustainable and impactful landscapes in one of the region's most rapidly developing urban environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape outdoor spaces that blend functionality, aesthetics, and environmental consciousness.

Collaborate with senior landscape architects and multidisciplinary teams to develop creative and sustainable landscape design solutions for a variety of projectsAssist in the preparation of detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documentation, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations and sustainability goalsConduct site analyses and environmental assessments to inform design decisions and ensure project feasibilityParticipate in client meetings and design presentations, articulating design concepts clearly and professionallyContribute to the development of plant palettes and hardscape selections appropriate for the local climate and project requirementsAssist in project management tasks, including timeline tracking, budget monitoring, and resource allocationSupport the preparation of project proposals and fee estimates for new business opportunitiesStay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and innovative landscaping techniques to incorporate into design solutionsMentor junior team members and provide guidance on technical aspects of landscape design and documentationEnsure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards throughout the design process

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or designStrong technical skills in landscape design, construction documentation, and project deliveryProficiency in industry-standard design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and climate-appropriate design solutionsFamiliarity with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards in Saudi ArabiaExperience with site analysis and environmental assessment techniquesExcellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyIn-depth knowledge of regional landscape practices, plant species, and climate-appropriate design solutionsStrong understanding of construction documentation, specifications, and tender processesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team membersCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teamsDetail-oriented approach with a commitment to producing high-quality workAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex design challengesGoal-oriented attitude with a focus on meeting project objectives and deadlinesAbility to adapt to evolving project requirements and client needs
