In this role you will get to support the planning and design of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) by preparing engineering plans, technical reports, and communications infrastructure designs under the guidance of a licensed engineer. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for fiber, ITS device communications, network communications, and signals + Prepare project reports such as Required Traceability Verification Matrices (RTVM), Concept of Operations (ConOps), Project System Engineering Management Plans (PSEMP), and ITS Power Reports; may also prepare lighting-related reports, such as Lighting Design + Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems + Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer; + May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers + Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks + Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasks + Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties + Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns + Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports + Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) + 0+ years of related work experience. **Security Clearance Requirement:** None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
