Release Control Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Release Control Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in Build & Release Management, Configuration Management, and Compliance & Governance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL Server, .NET Framework, C#, automating pipelines using Azure & GitHub Actions, and Cosmos DB, and a strong focus on automating release workflows and integrations.

This role involves planning and executing software releases efficiently while ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of experience in Release Engineering, Build & Configuration Management.

 • Proficiency in SQL Server, .NET Framework, Cosmos DB, and Azure DevOps.

 • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release orchestration.

• Solid understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices. 

• Familiarity with compliance, governance, and security standards in release management. • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Willingness to work in UK shifts and provide on-call support when needed. 

• Basic understanding of Release Management, ServiceNow tool & Deployment management Key Responsibilities: Build & Configuration Management

• Manage build processes for .NET applications, including compilation, packaging, and deployment. 

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated releases.

• Maintain configuration consistency across development, staging, and production environments.

• Enhance release automation and integration to improve deployment speed and reliability. Automation & Integration 

• Design and maintain automated workflows to streamline release and deployment processes. 

• Integrate Azure DevOps with other tools for efficient build and release operations.

• Support database release automation, particularly for SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
