Pacific Northwest Consultants is an independent financial services practice of Thrivent in Spokane, WA. We are growing and adding an Associate Financial Advisor to our team. Our vision is to offer our clients sound financial guidance and exceptional personal service, creating a long-term relationship based on confidence. As an Associate Financial Advisor, you’ll be a resource for our financial advisors and provide support to the clients of Pacific Northwest Consultants, including:

Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering resultsProactive problem-solver who thrives with minimal supervisionStrong self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasksAbility to foster relationships with existing and new clients/membersManaging office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, effective, and efficient. Creating and implementing new systems/processes to drive effectiveness and efficiency as neededUtilizing data analysis input toolsAnswering basic questions for clients (license may be required for some)Assist Financial advisors in the preparation and follow up for the client/member meetingsFilling out necessary forms for opening or maintaining accountsMaintain contact with clients to provide/obtain informationAllocating tasks and assignments to team based on appropriate roles and coordinate team roles to ensure maximum efficiencyPerforming review and analysis of special projects and keeping team properly informedDetermining current trends and providing reviews to team to act on as neededAssisting in the onboarding process for new hiresEstablishing a reference for the office by outlining necessary proceduresResearching products, product pricing, and contacting carriers for informationInterfacing with the broker-dealer or custodian to obtain information, account data, and convey service requestsDevelop, implement, and monitor procedures, policies, or standards in client service model processesMaintain information in the Client Relationship Management systemOther responsibilities as assigned by the lead advisors

You will be employed/contracted by Pacific Northwest Consultants.

Requirements

Securities (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65) and resident state Life, Health and Annuities registrationSatisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.

Thrivent Investment Management is the sponsor for FINRA registration, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is the sponsor for insurance licensure.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experience, with additional performance-based incentive compensation.Medical Reimbursement Plan and Individual Retirement Account
