What is the opportunity?

You will be joining a team of 4 accomplished professionals within the Salon Magura Private Wealth Group. A successful Associate Financial Advisor in this role needs to have an interest of the financial markets, be able to build meaningful relationships, assist with portfolio construction and maintenance and contribute to the overall success of the advisor team. A successful Associate Financial Advisor will also have an entrepreneurial and growth mindset.

What will you do?

Study for and obtain the Associate Financial Advisor program’s required licensingStudy and pass series 7 exam.Study and pass series 66 and life and health insurance exams.Complete Associate Financial Advisor program assignments within the curriculum’s timelinesRBC tools and technology introductionRBC policies and proceduresProducts and services—including scenarios and case studiesCompliancePlanning, marketing, prospecting, and servicingReport activities and results per the Associate Financial Advisor program’s requirementsImplement specific coaching from the Associate Financial Advisor sales managerBecome familiar with RBC Wealth ManagementMaintain awareness of financial news via company-approved online sites, meetings and various news media to support and advance professional development toward becoming a RBC Financial AdvisorBe knowledgeable and comply with all regulations and rules of various regulatory agencies and company policiesComplete all RBC WM new employee orientation online modules and others as required

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceAbility to obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 180 days of beginning employment at RBCAbility to take initiative and function independentlyExcellent interpersonal and marketing skillsStrong drive and dedicationDemonstrated ability to develop and promote business; a track record of success Ability to make solid decisions in a fast paced, quick turnaround environment

Nice-to-have

Entrepreneurial experience2-3 years working experience within the Financial Industry Active in a community, athletic or business groupFundraising experience
