**What you will do:** - Build, manage, and develop an accounting team, set annual objectives, and complete annual reviews. - Calculate, reconcile, and analyze Inventory and Inventory balances/reserves during period close to ensure accuracy. - Prepare complex month-end journal entries, review and approve those prepared by team members. - Ensure ERP-generated inventory reports are accurate and support ERP configuration, testing, and deployment. - Prepare complex reconciliations, review and approve team reconciliations per Stryker policies. - Support external and internal audits, complete audit requests timely, and address findings with action plans. - Keep all process documentation and narratives updated, and ensure all internal controls and other compliance requirements are successfully met. - Partner with the Senior Manager and supply planning team to enhance communication, forecast accuracy, inventory reduction, and implement reporting requirements or inventory-related projects. **What you need:** **Required** - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Business-Related Field - 6+ years experience in inventory, or Accounting. - Experience in audit process - Proficiency with Excel and SAP - Fluency in English (85%) - Strong ability to coordinate action across a dispersed workforce and highly matrixed organization **Preferred** - Experience researching and applying GAAP - Proficiency with JDE and Oracle - Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
