As a Salesforce consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad range of consulting skills and experience across various Salesforce applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Salesforce applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities 

Serve as a bilingual bridge for project teams:  

Understand requirement and translate emails, documents, presentations, requirements, and user guides (English ⇄ Japanese)  

Provide offline interpretation/translation support for meetings, workshops, and status calls as needed  

Support project delivery and coordination:  

Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, track actions, manage schedules, and follow up on deliverables  

Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status reports with high attention to detail  

Contribute to technology enablement:  

Perform data entry, basic configuration, and reporting in Salesforce under supervision (if assigned)  

Support testing and user acceptance activities as needed  

Assist with business analysis and PMO tasks:  

Help gather and clarify requirements, draft user stories, and support simple process mapping  

Create client-ready materials such as slides, summaries, and dashboards  

Collaborate across teams and time zones:  

Work effectively with stakeholders in Japan and global teams  

Provide flexible support to other technology or functional consulting engagements as needs evolve 

Other responsibilities may include:  

Conducts analysis and research.  

Drafts delivery products.  

Applies PwC Delivery Framework on engagements.  

Develops strong interpersonal skills with team members and peers.  

Provides support for business development and proposal efforts by assisting with the development of written technical content of proposals.  

Supports business solution investment projects that generate client revenue and supports the development of marketing content of those solutions to clients, potential clients and internally within PwC.  

May include assisting to support engagement management.  

Works closely with and cultivates strong relationships with client staffs and across teams to deliver business solutions. 

 

Background/Required qualifications and skills 

Bachelor’s degree in technical or language major. Strong interest in business and technology consulting industry  

Experience in Java or JavaScript is an added advantage

Bilingual proficiency:  

Japanese: JLPT N2 or above (N1 preferred) or equivalent business proficiency  

English: Strong business-level written and verbal communication  

Excellent writing, editing, and translation skills with attention to nuance and context  

Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management  

Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office/Google Workspace), especially PowerPoint and Excel  

Have strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational and communication skills;  

Strong ability in self-motivation and high responsibility for daily work. Proven ability to work in a team environment and multi-task to produce quality client deliverables  

  

Preferred (good to have)  

Salesforce Administrator certification or coursework  

Exposure to Agile/Scrum and SDLC fundamentals  

Experience with collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Teams, Slack)  

Prior experience in translation/localization, PMO, customer/IT support, or business operations  

Analytical skills (e.g., Excel advanced functions, basic SQL) or familiarity with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
