Job Description
Position Title: Associate Engineer/Engineer MSS, Managed Services
Location: Noida, India
As a Windows VMware Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Windows server environments that are virtualized using VMware technologies. You will ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of virtualized Windows servers while adhering to security and compliance standards. You will normally receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects and assignments. As an Associate Engineer/Engineer, you will report to the Team Lead/Supervisor and have a hybrid schedule working in Noida, India.
Your Responsibilities:
24x7 monitoring track the performance and status of Windows servers and VMware infrastructure.Monitor system resource utilization, such as CPU, memory, storage, and network, to identify and address performance bottlenecks.Analyze historical performance data to identify trends and potential improvements.Provide VMware support including incident and work requests within the virtualization infrastructure spanning multiple data centers, across multiple VMWare ESX environments.Configure and optimize the virtual infrastructure.Working with change tools to maintain client SLAs.Liaise on virtualization configuration with the storage systems manager and system administrators.Responsible for building & hardening windows servers.Analyze server logs & provide root cause analysis during Major incidents.Manage & maintain permissions on File servers & NAS shares.The Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3 years' experience as Windows and VMware Administrator.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Experience and demonstrated skills in systems administration which includes 24x7 operations, Virtualization environments (VMware) across multiple VMWare ESX environments, and Multiple data centers.In depth knowledge in Windows Server 2012, 2012R2, 2016 and 2019.Knowledge in DNS, DHCP and file servicesKnowledge and experience on Windows server security patching.Knowledge of Backup Technology and Datacenter tools.Knowledge of IP addressing, subnets, and network protocols.Ability to troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.Proficiency in documenting technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.Leadership/Change
