Role Purpose
The Associate Engagement & Development Coordinator provides high-quality operational, communications, and project support to the Associate Engagement & Development Manager and the Associate Communication & Engagement Lead.
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in engagement, communications, and project delivery. It plays a vital part in helping shape the experience of Pearson’s global Associate community by ensuring key initiatives run smoothly, communications are executed effectively, and data is captured accurately to support our commitment to continuous improvement.
Working from Manila, this role contributes to the end-to-end management of Associate engagement activities, communications, training materials, and operational deliverables, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
Communications Support
Draft, proofread, and format communications such as newsletters, bulletins, announcements, and operational updates.
Maintain templates, branding consistency, and version control across communication assets and training documents.
Assist in preparing presentations, visual materials, and written content for briefings and Associate U.
Coordinate distribution of communications across channels and track delivery success.
Manage Assessment Associate data in Excel, preparing data for communications and ensuring it is of good quality, up-to-date and accurate.
Engagement & Project Delivery Support
Support planning and execution of engagement campaigns, feedback loops, and associate community-building initiatives.
Help manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are tracked and activities are completed on schedule.
Assist with coordinating cross-functional inputs, gathering content, and documenting decisions and actions.
Provide logistical support for virtual events, training sessions, and engagement activities.
Training & Content Coordination
Assist with updating training modules, guidance documents, and onboarding materials for Associates.
Ensure content is organised, up to date, and accessible across platforms and teams.
Support quality checks for accuracy, tone of voice, and alignment with assessment standards.
Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Collect and organise engagement metrics, feedback data, and training performance results.
Prepare dashboards, summary reports, and insights to inform decision-making.
Track progress of communications and engagement initiatives, highlighting risks or delays.
Support improvement initiatives by logging lessons learned and contributing ideas.
Administrative & Executive Support
Manage scheduling, meeting coordination, and documentation for the Engagement Manager and Comms Lead.
Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track actions across regular meetings.
Maintain shared folders and naming conventions.
Provide general administrative support as needed to keep initiatives moving smoothly.
Key Skills & Competencies
Communication Excellence
Strong written skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, audience-appropriate messages.
Confidence and proficiency in Excel.
Background or an interest in marketing and communications.
Ideal: experience in using a communications platform.
High attention to detail, particularly in formatting, grammar, branding, and consistency.

Strong planning and coordination skills; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:
Degree or equivalent job experience.
Fresh Graduates - 2 years of experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Empathetic and patient demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good spoken and written English.
