We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world. **Portfolio Governance and Integration Director** **Position Description** Drives CPMO-level governance, meeting rhythm, and decision frameworks across programs. Ensures alignment with global priorities and execution models. Owns Organizational Change Management. **Critical Skill sets required:** + Integrate functions and lead cross-functionally + Demonstrate ability to identify strategic opportunities and turn strategy to execution + Operate as Team Lilly + Strong learning agility + Drive execution and accountability + Influence without authority + Strong inclusive leader + Project management + Change management skills through major change agenda + Building up standards and processes **Strategic Processes and Projects** + Ensure thorough and meaningful measurement and analytics on key questions to help drive the business and better serve our customers. + Support annual strategic planning and business plan processes, including ongoing prioritization of initiatives. + Anticipate and facilitate the resolution of issues that impact key portfolio and/or project deliverables and facilitate understanding and resolution of issues. **Drive Operational/Transformation Excellence** + Lead strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., project governance, GFD Governance) to influence GFD organizational effectiveness and collaboration with global manufacturing operations. + Cultivate a culture of innovation and execution. + Implement robust systems to govern the organization including (but not limited to) streamline meeting agendas, pre-reads, and follow-ups, ensuring seamless coordination and enhanced productivity. + Ensure appropriate governance is in place to ensure safety, quality, agility and execution to drive the most important work. + Monitor progress on Global Capital Delivery strategic organizational milestones and take action to escalate/remove barriers. + Support sites to facilitate consistent processes and efficient planning. Drive operational process improvements, best practice sharing and cost efficiencies across the global engineering function and ensure coordination with global manufacturing operations. **Effective Communication** + Drive connectivity between projects, sites, functions and networks to ensure alignment on strategic objectives. + Facilitate the decision-making process and ensure that we drive documentation and communication of key decisions, actions, and key modifications in time, budget, scope, and risk to key stakeholders. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelors’ degree + 10+ years working within large capex projects (>$1B) **Additional Skills/Preferences:** + Demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate, and solve complex problems + Excellent communication and project management skills + Ability to lead and influence others with or without authority + Strong business acumen + Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity + Demonstrated ability to deliver operational excellence + Ability to work cross-functionally, cross-culturally, and with individuals at all levels of the organization + Experience working in the biopharma manufacturing space + Previous management experience leading a cross-functional team of people to deliver on objectives + Able to effectively facilitate team meetings and team leadership interactions + Drive effective and efficient team decision-making process **Other information:** + Travel Percentage: 25 to 30% Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce, ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions. The anticipated wage for this position is $114,000 - $167,200 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
