Hyatt Regency Brisbane, a fast paced and dynamic full-service 5-star hotel, is seeking an **Associate Director of Sales** to join our talented team, to assist in leading our Sales and Events Department. We are seeking an experienced **ADOS** and will also consider a strong **Sales Manager** looking to take the next Leadership step in their career. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and will be responsible for leading the Sales and Events team to align with the strategic direction and execution of the hotel's sales initiatives, playing a vital part in driving the overall success and growth of the business. **Main Responsibilities** · Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets · Support overseeing the Sales and Events team, providing guidance, coaching and leadership to drive high performance with a focus on collaboration · Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents and industry partners · Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities · Collaborate with the hotel management team to align Sales and Events initiatives with the overall business objectives · Develop and monitor Sales and Events budgets, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources · Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and implement innovative Sales and Events tactics · Drive revenue growth and increase market share across all segments · Represent the hotel on sales trips to key market cities and industry events · Apply strategic insight to identify market opportunities and future trends **Qualifications/Experience** · Experience in Sales & Events within the hospitality industry – strong transient experience preferable · Proven track record of successfully leading Sales and Events teams to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets · Understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to develop strategic, data-driven Sales and Events plans · Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders · Highly organized, with the ability to priorities multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure · Motivated and solutions-oriented self-starter with adaptable teamwork style **Benefits** At Hyatt Regency Brisbane, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
