Job Summary: The Associate Director of Consumer Marketing and Customer Insights & Analytics will lead a team responsible for accelerating the reach of Lilly medicines to patients by developing and executing innovative marketing strategies and leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and the ability to harness personalized insights to deliver exceptional, unified interactions that meet our customers’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver clear consumer campaigns that lead to customer satisfaction/trust and improve profitability.Ensure strong execution excellence across priority consumer initiatives, including consumer activation and patient support/retention.Utilize market research and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.Lead and collaborate with brand teams, medical affairs, and market access teams to optimize product positioning and messaging and implement consumer marketing campaigns and assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.Identify, track, and analyze customer data to enable seamless end-to-end personalized experiences.Support enterprise onboarding of new Tech solutions and drive patient outcomes and business results.Develop measurement strategies and oversee delivery of technical requirements for effective implementation and measurement.Maintain a strong working knowledge of different data types, including First Party and Third Party Datasets, both digital and offline.Lead and mentor a team of consumer marketers and data analysts.Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure high performance and professional development.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and accountability.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, Mathematics, or related field.At least 5 years of experience in consumer marketing, preferably from a consumer product good, tech, or financial industry.Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing decision-making.Excellent communication and leadership skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, decision making, and leading without authority.Experience in organization change management and influence.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Experience with personalization analytics fundamentals, including data analysis, customer segmentation, customer profiling, first party data, A/B testing, journey analytics, web and digital analytics, performance metrics, and measurement.Familiarity with personalization platforms and tools, such as Web Analytics, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Marketing Automation Tools, Data Management Platform (DMP), Data Visualization Platforms.Experience working in digital marketing or related digital customer experience.Ability to understand high-level business operations and how tools and systems support these processes.Strong critical thinking and analytical skills in search of continual operational improvements.Superb communication (written & verbal), interpersonal skills, and prioritization skills with attention to detail.Note: When applying internally for a position your current supervisor receives notification that you have applied to the position.
