Job Description:
The Associate Director of MISPC & Productivity Academy is responsible for strategically developing and implementing comprehensive learning and development initiatives to enhance channel productivity, professional growth, and organizational value. This role also requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, expertise in instructional design, and the ability to drive organizational change through innovative learning and development practices in the insurance industry.
This pivotal role focuses on:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute innovative strategies for channel skill enhancement, address channels’ short-term to long-term productivity goals and professional developmentAlign learning initiatives with organizational objectives to maximize business impactPrepare comprehensive management reports and presentations for the Department Head.Program Management:
Oversee the delivery, and evaluation of high-impact productivity training programsManage key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity and skill set training programsCoordinate onboarding, licensing, and specialized training initiatives (e.g., Life & Health, MPF, Cross Selling, MDRT, HNW, Investment)Curriculum Development:
Identify learning opportunities and gaps to create targeted curriculum and contentDesign engaging, interactive learning materials with a focus on advisory and soft skillsEmphasize strategic areas such as High Net Worth (HNW) , MPF, Wealth and Health & Protection productsDistributor Capability Enhancement:
Build and strengthen distributor capabilities in advisory services, cross-selling, and product knowledgeImplement a standardized learning management system for consistent, scalable training across marketsPerformance Measurement:
Establish comprehensive metrics to assess training program effectivenessAnalyze the impact of learning initiatives on sales performance and other key business indicatorsStakeholder Management:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness and alignmentTeam Leadership:
Mentor the productivity training and administrative teamFoster a culture of continuous learning and innovationPrepare & monitor budget and manpower utilization.Technological Integration:
Leverage emerging technologies and learning methodologies to enhance training impact and relevanceEducation and Qulifications
University graduate with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experienceAt least 5 years of management experience, encompassing both people and project management skills in the life insurance industryPreferred professional qualifications: FLMI, CFP, FChFP, IIQE, or equivalentProven experience in developing training and learning & development strategies for various channelsFamiliarity with agency culture and operationsStrong strategic thinking and execution capabilitiesMeticulous attention to detail, creativity, ambition, and influential personalityDemonstrated leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindsetExcellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsFluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is advantageousSuperior analytical, communication, and leadership abilitiesKnowledge
