We are hiring an Associate Director, Neurology Biomarkers for our team in Indianapolis, IN!
**What to Expect...**
Tactical Leadership for Neurology Biomarkers, Central Laboratory Services
+ Work with clients to provide expert advice on biomarker selection, characterization and development for clinical trials, contributing to RFP/RFI proposals and responding to individual colleague inquiries regarding enterprise biomarker solutions in a timely fashion.
+ Interact with LabCorp technology groups to support direct assay development and implementation of new biomarkers in clinical research studies, including clinical trials
+ Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms to aid in defining and implementing the biomarker strategy in the context of early-stage clinical trials
+ Support CDx by working with the existing SMEs and Business Development staff.
+ Support integrated sales, and patient recruitment strategic initiatives.
Strategic Leadership for Neurology Biomarkers
+ Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of Neurology biomarkers for the enterprise, including adapting and modifying objectives based on deep knowledge of the subject matter, feedback of team members and other stakeholders, and focus on current/future state scientific and business drivers.
+ Proactively guide evaluation of additional capabilities in areas of greatest need
+ Partner with LabCorp business units, medical and scientific leaders to provide scientific input into the development of a long-term biomarker/diagnostic strategy roadmap for Immunology.
+ Provide scientific input into defining value propositions for multiple audiences, including: clients, investigators, and patients.
+ Assess and monitor strategic position and marketplace presence of key competitors in therapeutic areas of Immunology across all Covance business areas.
+ Provide scientific input to market strategy and competitive positioning as appropriate in partnership with business leadership to maintain competitive leadership and advantage.
**Experience:**
+ Preferred 5-10 years’ experience in Pharma/Biotech focused in Neurology
+ Demonstrated experience in biomarker discovery and development, clinical discovery of biomarkers, and MoA/translational research for Neurology directed clinical trials.
+ Experienced in leading major projects to successful outcome
+ Strong interpersonal, organization, time-management, and verbal and written communication skills
+ Collaborative and team building skills critical
**Education/Qualifications:**
PhD degree preferred but sufficient track record to ensure success will be considered
The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
