Position Summary:
The Associate Director, MLR Transformation Excellence will be a key role in ICD executing on the GenAI Content Hub model as part of the end-to-end marketing transformation. This role will be responsible for optimizing and evolving MLR Processes within the content hub - and in close collaboration with MLR and PReP teams.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will focus on establishing best practices to inform steady state execution excellence and also leading evolution of process and technology opportunities drive a reuse mindset, streamlined review and accelerate content delivery
Actively drive change management and adoption of digital transformation with cross functional reviewers in the medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review process, identifying opportunities for efficiency
Identify, evaluate, and implement new tools and platforms to enhance creative, authoring, production, review, and distribution processes.
Advise on existing workflows within Veeva Vault to streamline content lifecycle management, from creation to approval and distribution.
Provide a perspective around the future of Legal Medical and Regulatory Processes in Life Sciences (MLR) and drive thought leadership on the subject including how it relates to AI and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with MLR & PReP teams to create a strategy and roadmap for how MLR process step can continue to drive excellence in end-to-end content transformation.
Demonstrate excellence in product management by combining business, process and technology knowledge to develop and manage product roadmaps, define meaningful OKRs, and drive value and impact.
Ability to ensure that the product continues to deliver efficiency and effectiveness, while meeting the evolving needs of our marketing and medical teams.
Facilitates the content production and deployment process and partners with ICDx process leads to continue evolving the space.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Expertise marketing content end to end processes and technology in or outside pharma (e.g., consumer health, consulting firms), especially in industries with heavy digital channel usage
Experience with production and deployment for different types of content across channels, incl. review process, channel operations
Familiarity with modular content processes (e.g., content mapping, tagging)
Knowledge of industry trends and benchmarks across channel performance for different customer types (e.g., HCP, patient)
Experience in working in a cross-functional environment and coaching teams
Experience working on agile teams
Significant experience in MLR (-like) processes and trends in industries with heavy use of digital channels
Knowledge of industry trends and benchmarks for content delivery and channel execution
Leverages creative and analytical approaches to identify and activate seamless execution opportunities
Experience working with external creative and media agencies
Facilitates content production process for brand teams, enabling agile ways of working
Knowledge and experience with MLR processes for content production
Knowledge of MarTech requirements for omnichannel pull through; adopts new tech / ways of working to enable content deployment faster
Experience using modular content creation (e.g., tagging, taxonomy)
Adopts an internal and external customer-focused mindset in building strategy and tactics for efficient and innovative content deployment and operations
Maintains a robust set of metrics and KPIs
Drives trade-off decisions anchored in data
Demonstrates ability to deliver on customer needs and optimize customer experience
Demonstrates ability to lead and influence a cross-functional team
Has a track record of fostering a collaborative environment and creating a strong rapport

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $162,690- $197,100, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
