Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, Digital Products & Solutions
**Job Overview** Act as a strategic finance partner for the engineering organization and cross-functional stakeholders to develop comprehensive financial strategies that align with business objectives. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes for the engineering team while looking to optimize resource allocation, and support ongoing efficiency and financial diligence. **Essential Functions** • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes tailored to the needs of a dynamic software engineering organization. Analyze and interpret complex financial data, providing insightful reporting and strategic recommendations to senior management and engineering leadership. • Proactively engage with engineering leads to understand technical roadmaps, project timelines, and resource requirements. • Partner with engineering leadership to analyze project costs, assess resource allocation, and evaluate return on investment for technology initiatives, with a focus on optimizing staff utilization and personnel expenses. • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams to optimize operational efficiency, identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvement, and proactively manage budget impacts related to staffing changes. • Lead the monthly financial forecasting process, including preparation, consolidation, and analysis of forecast loads. • Drive the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial statements and reconciliations. • Maintain financial controls and reporting systems to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with company policies and US GAAP **Qualifications** • Bachelor's Degree Req • 10 years progressive experience in accounting and/or finance with recent FP&A experience in P&L ownership and business partnering. • Strong technical accounting skills. • Experience with Hyperion preferred • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. • Strong analytical and numeracy skills. • Ability to identify financial issues, develop and execute mitigating actions. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to influence others. • Ability to manage conflicting priorities. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
