Job Overview
Directs financial projects related to Billing, Revenue, Cash Application, and other Order-to-Cash related projects. Coordinates resolutions of all Billing & Revenue system demands, incidents, and similar requirements. Leads the organization of analysts and specialists in the area of e-invoicing, billing projects, and other OTC projects. Partners with the business (internal clients), IT Business Systems, Master Data Team, CRM Team, and SSC Billing & Cash Application Teams. Coordinates SSC reporting incl. KPI reporting.
Essential Functions
• Understands business partner/client needs and translates strategy into proactive plans to enable successful achievement of business results.
• Ensures that the reporting and measurement of all Billing related transactions, internal IQVIA corporate policies and procedures, government regulations and local business requirements.
• Develops specific business metrics that support timely and actionable information flow for daily operational and long-term strategic planning purposes.
• Directs all aspects of financial projects, and enhancement demands / requirements related to Billing systems
• Proposes enhancements of SSC Order-to-Cash processes, leading to process optimizing, simplification, automation, and digitalization. Identifies process gaps and deficiencies and removes them from the process.
• Supports achievement of departmental financial targets.
• Identifies and monitors areas of risk and/or opportunity and their financial impact on the business.
• Reviews and analyzes new business initiatives and investments to ensure that they conform with IQVIA strategic vision and achieve or exceed minimum return on investment requirements.
Qualifications
• Master's Degree Finance, Accounting or Financial Management preferred and/or other Economic related master's degree
• Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects within multiple departments and functional areas.
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial projects, ERP systems, CRM systems, business analysis, accounting and finance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong leadership and focus.
• Proven record of results working with senior management.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.
• Technical proficiency with financial application software is essential.
• High level of integrity and self-confidence.
