**What You’ll Be Doing:**
**Associate Director, Correspondence Project and Program Management**
This position serves a key role in planning, directing, and measuring the overall correspondence program, including oversight of individual correspondence project activities of correspondence projects, including cross-departmental coordination of tasks, timelines, and risks/opportunities. The position will take the lead in working with the executive management team on priority initiatives designed to improve operations and meet key customer deliverables. This position will provide technical expertise, project
management planning, execution and reporting to individual project teams and work closely with leadership and the executive team on initiatives.
**What You Will Be Doing:**
+ Responsible for oversight of utilization management (UM)/care management (CM) correspondence development, internal and external approvals, and on-going maintenance of corporate clinical correspondence to ensure compliance with legislative and accreditation requirements.
+ Maintains oversight of correspondence templates and departmental processes that ensure alignment with Corporate Compliance policies.
+ Builds and leads high functioning and high performing teams responsible for timely delivery of high-value and high-quality correspondence deliverables.
+ Responsible for the oversight of the correspondence configuration and quality assurance (QA) function.
+ Ensures that team members effectively apply procedures and standards as outlined in departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensures alignment to defined development methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.) and that coordination points with IT and other business stakeholders are designed for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
+ Advocates the use of technology to improve efficiency and reliability and for compliant and member focused solutions.
+ Reports project statuses and apprises management of issues requiring resolution to maintain progress on a timely basis.
+ Assists senior management with development/implementation of plan operations. On a regular basis, communicates program updates (summarizing progress, barriers, any resources needed, etc.).
+ Facilitates and leads cross-functional or inter-departmental project meetings as needed.
+ Coaches team members to adeptly negotiate internally and externally around interpretation and application of utilization review law, accreditation standards and policy.
+ Ensures team member development and alignment to an appropriately detailed project plan and project charter.
+ Directs and coordinates project resources and personnel with a single point of accountability on project success.
+ Meets with business owners and other appropriate staff to identify the strategic goals, objectives, critical success factors and success measures for each project.
+ Provides supervision to assigned staff.
+ Deploys resource management tools and techniques to manage demand and team capacity.
+ Develops and reports key metrics related to project expense and forecasted benefits.
+ Develops direct reports, outlining and providing feedback on key performance indicators, progress on goals and professional development opportunities.
**Qualifications - Required:**
+ Bachelors Degree
+ 7+ years of Project/Program management experience in the healthcare industry.
+ Advanced knowledge of project management practices and methodologies.
+ Successful track record of delivering projects within scope and on time with superior results.
+ Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control and monitor project activities.
+ Well-developed interpersonal skills, including negotiation, account management, and conflict management.
+ Ability to perform financial (ROI) and quantitative analysis.
+ Self-directed and motivated with strong analytical skills, systematic and orderly planning abilities, and high attention to detail.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proven ability to evaluate key business objectives and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
+ Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
+ LSSBB – Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification – Enterprise, **not required however preferred.**
+ **Scrum Master is strongly preferred.**

**Technical Requirements:**
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
