What is the opportunity?
As the Associate Director, Business Manager, you will be responsible for steering the Wealth Management (“WM”) business branch operations by working with relevant parties and submitting decision making recommendations to senior management. The business manager also ensures that business front office team is in adherence to the risk and regulatory requirements within the operational and compliance framework, while collaborating with various departments and external parties to help drive the business growth strategy.
What will you do?
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and actively contribute to change initiatives such as implementing consistent working practices across Singapore Private Banking in ensuring an efficient cost-effective approach is observed.Implementing ‘end to end’ working team protocols within the team to enable client facing professionals to concentrate on clients and business performance in line with WM Asia’s client strategy .Responsible for overseeing the governance framework and maintenance for SG WM business and carrying out best practices.Establish and maintain relevant FO controls and feedback systems to monitor the BAU operation of the SG WM business.Act as a Delegate for signing authority for MH to carry out BAU tasks.Ensure the relevant Compliance Directives/Policies, KYC, Due Diligence, AML and Cross border activities are abided by.Liaise with Internal Audit on implementing audit measures.Manage relevant North Asia and Singapore ARMs to supervise their work and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Represent FO in relevant initiatives or remediation and working groups, as required.Facilitate and participates in relevant initiatives and projects UATs to perform quality assurance and completeness.Providing platform training and advisory to ensure knowledge within the FO team is current and consistent.What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Degree in in Business Management or Finance or equivalent is required.The role would typically require 5-8 years of relevant experience in Private Banking environment as a Business Management.Strong analytical and conceptual skills, strong flavour for numbers and MIS reporting.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases, IS and presentation skills.Team player and high adaptability.Ability to provide organization and client focus solutions.Good inter-personal and communication skills.Ability to interpret and transpose ideas into actions.What’s in it for you?
