This role will support the ECMX organization, a team responsible for growing the American Express brand in more than 150 countries around the world. **Our team** – The ECMX Program Management Office (PMO) is working on an enterprise-wide initiative to transform how American Express plans, builds, and delivers marketing campaigns. Our mission is to create a more agile, automated, and data driven marketing ecosystem that accelerates business outcomes through personalized and customer-centric experiences. **How will you make an impact in this role?** We are seeking a dynamic Associate to join the ECMX PMO team as we advance our multi-year strategy to develop innovative marketing technology solutions. These initiatives will elevate how we design, build, review and deploy marketing experiences across the enterprise. The successful candidate will bring a strong focus on standardizing cross-functional communications and delivering time-sensitive program management initiatives to drive successful outcomes. The role requires a skillful communicator who can maintain a positive, solutions-oriented mindset while navigating complexity and change. **Core responsibilities include:** + **Engagement** – Support highly visible ECMX strategic initiatives by working across Marketing, Product, Operations, Compliance, Technology, and others partner organizations. Translate business needs into clear, actionable communications for new solutions. Synthesize accomplishments, milestone status, risks, and upcoming deliverables across multiple workstreams, including Audience, Campaign, Content Management, Creative Compliance Review, Offers, and others. + **Executive Communications** – Help standardize end-to-end communications for the ECMX initiative and proactively escalate issues as needed. Support stakeholder engagement efforts to increase transparency, align on priorities, and accelerate decision-making. Drive consistency by documenting and distributing key decisions and developing reusable communication templates. Familiarity with tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, or similar platforms is preferred. + **Planning** – Contribute to program planning capabilities, including analytics and insights, discovery, roadmap ideation, outcome definition, and dependency management. Help establish critical milestones and identify opportunities to automate and improve planning processes. Familiarity with Airtable, Clarity, Jira, Rally, or similar tools is preferred. + **Analytics** – Create clear, compelling visual assets to support solution design and product delivery discussions. Facilitate alignment across stakeholder groups by translating data into meaningful insights. Propose new and improved ways to communicate metrics and performance. Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Data Insights, Power BI, or similar tools is preferred. + **Governance** – Support compliance with Project Governance requirements by collecting, organizing, and submitting documentation for control processes. You connect the dots, ask impactful questions, and confidently — yet respectfully — challenge ideas when appropriate. + You are customer-centric and strive to deliver solutions that meet user expectations while balancing product, engineering, and operational best practices. + You value teamwork and culture, actively contributing to a collaborative environment and bringing energy and openness to idea exchange. **Minimum Qualifications** + **2 years of experience in Product Management** or a related role. + **Strong written and verbal communication skills** , with a proven ability to build effective relationships across teams. + **Exceptional organizational skills** , including strong attention to detail and the ability to manage, prioritize, and deliver across multiple initiatives with tight timelines. + **Demonstrated ownership mindset** with a strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve. + **Self-starter with an enterprise perspective** , able to connect the dots and understand how individual contributions support broader organizational objectives. + **Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business communications** and effectively document business requirements. + **Comfortable sharing ideas and insights across all levels of leadership** , including senior stakeholders. + **Adaptable and resilient** , with the ability to quickly pivot and reprioritize in response to evolving business strategies. + **Passionate about marketing technology** and energized by the rapidly evolving external technology landscape. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience using AI tools to automate reporting (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, Canva, or similar tools) + Experience using visualization and project management tools (Airtable, Clarity, Jira, Power BI, Rally, or similar tools). + Experience using Agile software development processes such as Scrum or Kanban + SAFe or PMP training and certification a plus. + Experience with Adobe CDP (Customer Data Platform), Adobe Journey Optimizer & Campaign Journey Analytics, Salesforce, MarTech ecosystem/platforms, or similar tools + Experience working within Agile software development methodologies and supporting tools and frameworks (JIRA, Rally, Lean Portfolio Management, or similar tools). **Qualifications** Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $124,750.00 annually bonus benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
