The Application Experience Platforms team sits at the heart of Amex's digital acquisitions ecosystem. Our mission is to accelerate innovation by enabling Application & Post-Application Experiences across markets to build and scale through reusable, configurable and modular platform components.

We are looking for an Associate, Digital Product Management, to join the Global Post Approval team and help deliver on our ambitious vision. In this role, you will support the product roadmap, help execute new features, optimize existing capabilities, and support expansion across new channels, markets, and products. The Post Approval team powers instant Card Member spend and instant membership capabilities, that enable newly acquired card members to seamlessly access their Digital Card details and begin using their card immediately online or through digital wallets.

Key Responsibilities

Support the definition and execution of the Global Post Approval product roadmap, priorities, and growth opportunities.

Assist in launching new product features and capabilities, partnering closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, UX/design, analytics, marketing, and product.

Develop a strong understanding of customer needs by analyzing user experience, data, and research to identify opportunity areas.

Translate technical specifications into clear and concise business instructions, ensuring high-quality documentation for partner teams.

Manage project workflows to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and enhancements.

Participate in and help lead daily Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, refinement, retrospectives) to support effective execution of the product roadmap.

Communicate proactively with stakeholders to maintain alignment, address risks, and drive progress.

Minimum qualifications 

Relevant experience working as an Associate Product Manager or Product Owner within a digital product or software development environment.

Experience working in an Agile environment with end-to-end exposure to software delivery.

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships across functions and levels within the organization.

Ability to write clear user stories, articulate business requirements, and translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in ambiguous areas with limited oversight.

Passion for problem-solving and learning complex systems and processes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.

Hands-on experience with Rally and/or JIRA for tracking product features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery workflows.
